Huawei Ascend W2 New Photo, This Time in Yellow

A new press shot of the Huawei Ascend W2 is now available for your viewing pleasure, showing the device all dressed up in Yellow, after another such image emerged, with the device painted in Blue.

No new details on the device itself have been provided along with the leaked photo, available courtesy of @evleaks, but its presence on the web confirms that Huawei will release the new flagship smartphone in a variety of color options. For those out of the loop, we should note that Huawei is rumored to plan on releasing the Ascend W2 with a large 4.5-inch screen on the front, capable of delivering a 720p resolution, as well as with a dual-core processor packed inside.

Furthermore, the Windows Phone 8-based smartphone is expected to feature 1GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, a 2800mAh battery inside, and a slim body, measuring only 7.7 mm thick.

Leaked Windows 8.1 Build 9415 Finally Shows a Start Button

Windows 8.1 build 9415 is reportedly out for testing, with screenshots showing what seems to be a Chinese build of the operating system reaching the web a few hours ago.

While these photos don't really reveal anything new, they do confirm that a Start button will be implemented in the upcoming Windows 8 update, just like Microsoft told us this week. In addition, we can all see that the Softies will indeed implement some new customization options for the Start screen, along with Internet Explorer 11 and a few other Metro apps.

Keep in mind that these screenshots are not official and nobody can tell for sure if they're real or not, but one thing is for sure: the upcoming Windows 8.1 will come with a Start button. More info will be provided later this month at the BUILD developer conference when Microsoft will roll out the public preview version of the OS.

Nokia Tablet in Testing at AT&T

Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia has been long rumored to plan the release of a tablet PC running under Microsoft’s Windows 8 operating system, and new reports on the matter suggest that the device is already being tested by AT&T in the United States.

The rumor comes shortly after the wireless carrier was said to have started testing the 41-megapixel Nokia EOS smartphone internally, although no official confirmation on the matter has emerged until now. According to a recent article on NokiaPowerUser, the slate might become official along with Nokia EOS soon, or could be unveiled as part of a separate announcement next month. For the time being, however, we'll take the rumor with a grain of salt.

Although specifics on the tablet PC are not available at the moment, chances are that it would be released as a 10-inch device, running the Windows RT OS.
