Xiaomi Mi3 (Snapdragon 800-Based) Emerges in AnTuTu

Xiaomi’s Mi3 was already known to be a great device, and the latest benchmarking results for it appear to have confirmed that recently.

The smartphone was spotted in AnTuTu with a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 MSM8974AB processor inside, where it managed to top 37,273 points, as GSMInsider reports. At the same time, the CDMA version of the smartphone emerged there with a score of 36,350 points, which further confirms that the phone can deliver high performance levels.

However, given that these results are not official, we should take them with a grain of salt, as PhoneArena notes. The XiaoMi Mi3 was launched with a 5-inch full HD screen, 2GB of RAM inside, a 13-megapixel rear camera, and a 3050mAh battery. The handset is running under the MIUI V5 software, which is based on Android.

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780 Ti WindForce GHz Edition Can Reach 1085 MHz

The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 Ti GHz edition is already a superpowered beast, but that isn't stopping OEMs from pushing it even higher than usual. Gigabyte just proved that, again.

The company has created the (still un-priced) GTX 780 Ti GHz Edition, bearing the part number of GV-N78TGHZ-3GD. It's actually strange that it's called “GHz Edition” when it does not, in fact, run at 1 GHz. Instead, its base clock is of 1085 MHz, while the GPU Boost maximum is of 1150 MHz. That's a full 222 MHz above and beyond the standard clocks, which were already enough to beat GTX Titan and AMD Radeon R9 290X.

The card has to get an 8+2+2 phase VRM and the WindForce 450W 3X cooler, but no one's complaining. Not when it's still a dual-slot card, and not when all other NVIDIA partners are customizing the living lights out of this flagship adapter. It's almost a shame that the 3 GB of GDDR5 VRAM are left at 7 GHz frequency.
