Sony Xperia ZU Leaked Photos Emerge

Sony Mobile’s next high-end Android-based smartphone, supposedly called Xperia Z Ultra (or Xperia ZU), has emerged in a new set of allegedly leaked photos, which appear meant to show more of its capabilities.

One of the photos, available courtesy of nowhereelse.fr, shows a device resembling the Xperia ZR that was made official only recently, though apparently larger. Additionally, the handset can be seen in a series of photos coming from ePrice, which confirm that it will hit the market with support for a stylus, just as XperiaBlog notes.

The handset is said to become official in early July with a 6.4-inch touchscreen display, a quad-core processor inside, 2GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, and Google’s Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system loaded on top, but no official confirmation on this has emerged so far.

HTC One Mini Photographed Next to HTC One

HTC One mini, the smaller flavor of the handset vendor’s current flagship smartphone, has emerged in a newly leaked photo.

The new image supposedly confirms not only its existence, but also shows how it will stack up against the full-sized model. The handset is expected to arrive on shelves with a 4.3-inch touchscreen display, supposedly a 720p one, while still featuring the same metallic unibody as the predecessor. According to Engadget, which brought the photo above to the web, the smartphone will also sport Beats Audio, as well as a plastic bezel on the front, yet won’t include the IR blaster that HTC One arrived on shelves with.

HTC One mini is expected to land on the market with Google’s Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system loaded on top, a 1.4GHz dual-core processor inside, and an UltraPixel photo snapper on the back.

Intel Roadmap for 2013 and 2014

People may or may not have expected it, but Intel's plans for the rest of the year, as well as 2014, have been revealed.

The folks at CPU World have discovered some slides. Three slides to be precise, which I have included in the gallery below. They reveal that a new high-end Haswell CPU will debut in Q3, the Core i7-4771. It might be the Core i7-4770 with a better graphics chip. The roadmap also confirms that the Core i7-4820K, i7-4930K and i7-4960X Ivy Bridge-E CPUs are set for Q3 launch.

There's even a mention of mid-range Core i3-4130, i3-4330 and i3-4340 Haswell CPUs, plus the H81 chipset. G3220, G3420 and G3430 Pentium chips will be based on Ivy Bridge architecture, and will be followed by some Celeron in Q1 2014 and, in Q2, that Haswell refresh we mentioned a few days ago. New Z97 and H97 chipsets will arrive at the same time.

Nokia EOS Photo Leaked Next to Lumia 920

A newly leaked photo of the yet unofficial Nokia EOS smartphone is now available for your viewing pleasure, sizing the device up next to the Nokia Lumia 920 smartphone.

Available courtesy of ViziLeaks, the photo shows the great resemblance between the two devices, although the upcoming one appears to be a bit thinner and taller (it is the phone to the right). Nokia EOS is expected to hit shelves with an OLED screen capable of delivering a 768 x 1280 pixel resolution, most probably a 4.5-inch one, as well as with a dual-core processor inside, and 32GB of internal memory.

The main selling point of the handset, however, should be its 41-megapixel photo snapper on the back, capable of delivering a great imaging experience to all users. The phone is said to run under Windows Phone 8 build 8.0.10322.71, WPCentral notes.
