MSI GeForce GTX 670 Pictured

We wrote about what is so far known about the GeForce GTX 670 and 660 graphics boards and, now, we are looking at an actual model.

The product in the photos is MSI's GTX 670, not that it would be all that easy to tell if the box was out of sight.

The graphics adapter looks more or less identical to the Leadtek we mentioned here

Anyway, the cut-down GK104 GPU operates at 900 MHz and boasts 1,344 CUDA cores, 112 TMUs and 32 ROPs. The "OC Edition" on the box makes the number seem oddly low, but we'll see what that means once the formal launch is made.

Meanwhile, the 2 GB VRAM have a speed of 1,250 MHz actual and 5.00 GHz effective (GDDR5 VRAM).

Other details are a bit sketchy, but the PCB shouldn't be too long. Connectivity is enabled by two dual-link DVI and one DisplayPort connector.

The AMD Radeon HD 7950 will have to watch out, as MSI's GeForce GTX 670 will be priced at around $420 and 359 Euro in Europe. Exchange rates would say 319 Euro, but prices on the old continent seldom reflect them.
