Samsung Galaxy S III Mini Receives DLNA Certification

Before the end of this week, Samsung might go official with a new flavor of its Galaxy S III smartphone, one that would feature a more compact design but the same high-end features.

Said a few times before to be en-route to the market as GALAXY S III mini and expected to be unveiled on October 11th, the handset has already passed through DLNA certification. Featuring model numbers GT-I8190L and GT-I8190, the W-CDMA/GSM handset was approved on October 4th with Google’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean platform on board.

It also features a 1GHz dual-core CPU inside, along with a 4.0-inch WVGA (480 x 800) touchscreen display, and might indeed arrive on shelves as the smaller version of Galaxy S III, rumor has it. However, nothing has been officially confirmed on the matter for the time being, and we’ll take the info with a grain of salt.
