Pantech Vega IM-A860 Spotted on WiFi Certification with Quad-Core Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU

LG, HTC, Samsung and other handset manufacturers have already launched Android smartphones that pack full HD displays, or are about to release their first devices in the following months.

It looks like Pantech is among the latter. An unannounced Vega IM-A860 smartphone has just been spotted at GLBenchmark by the folks over at Ameblo. Additionally, the smartphone received its Wi-Fi certification, which is another proof that the device is real and will probably hit shelves in the next few months. Pantech Vega IM-A860 runs Android 4.1.x Jelly Bean operating system and packs a 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm APQ8064 Snapdragon processor.

No word on the amount of memory, but the benchmark mentions that the device boasts a full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution capacitive touchscreen display. We also know that the device will support LTE and will be introduced in South Korea initially, via SK Telecom carrier.
