Android 4.2.2 with Sense 5.1 Available for HTC Butterfly

Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation is reportedly gearing up for the launch of a new OS upgrade for the HTC Butterfly smartphone, one that would bring the device up to Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, and which will also deliver the Sense 5.1 UI to its users.

No official info on the matter has been provided as of now, but a leaked Android 4.2.2 build for the device has already emerged online, proving that it won’t be long before that happens. A video that shows the Android 4.2.2 platform loaded on HTC Butterfly is also available, and you can see it embedded above.

Users can also head over to XDA-Developers to grab the system dump, though there’s little that most people will be able to do with it, as Pocketnow notes. Stay tuned for more info on this.
