Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia has registered a great success with the cheapest smartphones in its Lumia series, especially with the Windows Phone 8-powered Lumia 520, and it appears set to focus on this segment to increase its market share.
In fact, Jo Harlow, Nokia’s executive vice president for smartphone business, has already confirmed this, while also adding that the company is focused on launching devices that pack features currently missing from the lineup. One of them would be Dual-SIM capability, which is highly appreciated in various emerging markets such as India, Jo Harlow said in an interview with DNA.
“We will continue to push the boundaries of how low we can take Lumia. That’s one thing. […] Dual-SIM is an important one and to be really successful in the Indian market. And that’s something on our radar to bring to the portfolio,” Harlow said, BGR reports.
