Meizu MX4G Will Sport a 5.5-Inch, 2560 x 1536-Pixel Screen

Chinese mobile phone maker Meizu is getting ready to enter the high-resolution smartphone battle, and it has already confirmed plans to launch a device that will feature a 2k+ resolution.

To be more precise, the handset is expected to arrive on shelves under the name of MX4G and will pack a 5.5-inch, 2560 x 1536-pixel screen. This means a 542 PPI pixel density on a 15:9 aspect ratio display. Meizu’s J. Wong, former CEO, has already confirmed plans for this device, though no other details on what it will include in terms of hardware specs have been provided as of now.

However, as UnwiredView reports, the upcoming mobile phone will prove a worthy competitor for the Vivo XPlay 3S, which is expected to become available shortly with a 2K (2560 x 1440 pixels) touchscreen. More on this should emerge soon, so stay tuned for more on the matter.
