Nokia Normandy Leaked Photo Shows Android UI and Dual-SIM Support

Nokia Normandy continues to make waves in the media, as new info about the allegedly killed Android smartphone designed by the Finnish company emerges online.

WPCentral reports the budget-friendly smartphone has just been spotted in China once again, but this time the phone's Android UI has been somewhat revealed under a blurred screenshot. There's also news the Normandy will not offer access to Google Play Store, if it were to see the light of day anytime in the future. Aside from that, the picture leaked confirms the smartphone will only have a single capacitive touchscreen button and may offer dual-SIM support.

According to sources familiar with Nokia's Normandy project, the smartphone will be powered by a “forked” Android platform, which is one of the reasons it will not offer access to Google Play. We still don't have any clues on whether or not Nokia Normandy will ever be released on the market, but more details may surface in the coming weeks so stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
