Moto E Gets Priced at $129 (€94) in the US, Now on Pre-Order

Today, mobile phone maker Motorola has unveiled to the world a new cheap Android-based smartphone, in the form of Moto E, which is set to arrive in the United States in the coming weeks, with a price tag of $129 (€94) attached to it.

At this price, the new device will certainly prove an appealing option for a lot of users out there, despite the fact that it might not be able to provide them with top-of-the-line capabilities. Those who are interested in purchasing the Moto E can already reserve it through Motorola’s website. Unfortunately, no specific info on when it will start arriving in users’ hands has been provided as of now. The phone lands on the market with a 4.3-inch 540 x 960 pixels touchscreen, as well as with a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor. Moreover, it sports 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot.

On the back, the new smartphone features a 5-megapixel camera. No front camera has been included, but there is a 1980mAh battery, along with the usual set of connectivity capabilities, and the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system loaded on top of the device. “Featuring the sharpest display in its class, Corning Gorilla Glass protection, and a water-repellent splash guard for lasting durability, and an all-day battery. For just $129 with no contract, Moto E is made to last and priced for all,” Motorola notes on its website.
